bASS
Scott - 2025
19 Inches
In the bass category we a had a tie, Scott got his in early spring and DJ got his in the fall, both coming in at 19 inches. DJ and his family, as well as Scott are returning guests here at camp. Really great catches guys! DJ and Scott will split the Bass pot and will each receive $25 and joint Bragging rights.
Congratulations DJ and Scott !!
WALLEYE
Brian - 2025
20 Inches
In the walleye category Brian comes out on top with a nice 20 inch fish. Brian is a regular here at camp every season and puts a good amount of time on the water. He had very good success this year with the walleye, boating and releasing many nice fish. Keep up the great work Brian and congratulations !!
PIKE
Brock - 2025
22.5 Inches
The pike category this year was won by young gun Brock with a respectable 22.5 inch fish. Brock is a regular guest here with his family at camp, and is no stranger to the leaderboard, as you may remember him winning the Pike category in our first live release contest in 2023. Congratulations once again Brock, not only bragging rights this time, but also a little pocket change!
It was another fun and successful live release season here at camp, with a lot of really nice size fish being caught and released safely back into the lake in all 3 fish categories. Now the opportunity exists for those fish to be caught again next year at an even larger size. We cant thank you folks enough for doing your part to help keep Angus lake a healthy and prosperous lake to fish year after year despite its relative small size. This would not be possible without your continued conservation efforts. As requested, we continued again this year with the live release pot, being received well by returning guests as well as new ones. With 30 guests entering once again and a large pool of kids 12 and under, we amassed another $150 in our prize pot. The three species winners will get $50 each for their efforts and equally as important, Bragging rights for the year!
Forever immortalized on the Ridgewood website!
