PIKE
Austin
Sept 3 2024
22.25 inch
Austin, a newcomer to camp this year, with his respectable 22.25 inch northern takes the title in the pike category. Austin's family have been regular guests here for the past three years in early September with a family reunion/getaway. A large, fun group of hardworking people, who know how to have fun! It was really good to see the different individuals get involved, have some fun, and support the tournament. Thanks to all, and Congratulations Austin!
We want to thank all those who participated in this years competition and helped make it a successful 2nd year. It was last years participants that suggested that in 2024 we sweeten the pot. It was proposed that each person 13 and over, anti up $5.
The $5 would cover all three fish species, so no matter what you catch your covered. This was explained to all fisherman/women and guests that came to camp. Kids 12 and under are entered at no charge.
To our pleasant surprise it was received quite well, with 30 guests entering and a large number of children, we ended up $150 in our prize pot. The three winners not only have Bragging Rights for the year, but also will receive $50 each!
Once again, thank you to all who participated and Congratulations to our 2024 Winners. We look forward to the 2025 season and contest! We hope to see even larger fish numbers in all categories thanks to your conservation efforts.
